Yesterday, the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was successfully concluded. This is a conference to hold high the banner, gather strength and forge ahead in unity.

The international community pays close attention to the 20th CPC National Congress. Political parties in many countries sent congratulatory messages, many of which were from heads of state, heads of government, political parties and leaders of important organizations. On behalf of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, I would like to express my sincere thanks!

Just now, we convened the First Plenary Session of the Twentieth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) to elect a new central leading body and elect me to continue to serve as the General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee. Now, I would like to introduce the other six colleagues of the Standing Committee: Comrade Li Qiang, Comrade Zhao Leji, Comrade Wang Huning, Comrade Cai Qi, Comrade Ding Xuexiang and Comrade Li Xi.

Comrade Zhao Leji and Comrade Wang Huning were members of the Standing Committee of the 19th Central Political Bureau, and other comrades were members of the 19th Central Political Bureau.

Here, on behalf of the leading members of the new Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, I sincerely thank all Party comrades for their trust. We must keep in mind the nature and purpose of the Party, our mission and responsibility, and work diligently to live up to the great trust of the Party and the people.

Through the joint efforts of the whole Party and the people of all ethnic groups, we completed the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects on schedule and achieved the first century goal. Now, we are vigorously embarking on a new journey of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way, marching towards the second centenary goal, and comprehensively promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese style modernization.

——On the new journey, we should always maintain a high spirited state of mind. The building of a socialist modern country in an all-round way places the long cherished aspirations and expectations of the Chinese nation on it and condenses the struggle and sweat of the Chinese people. Chinese style modernization is the result of long-term practice and exploration of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese people, and it is a great and arduous cause. It is difficult, so great; However, it is arduous and more glorious.

For this cause, countless ancestors have worked hard and fought hard. We will always remember their dedication and sacrifice. We should work hard and take on our responsibilities, promote the localization and modernization of Marxism in China with a stronger historical initiative, constantly write a new chapter of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, and strive to realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

——On the new journey, we must always adhere to the principle of "all for the people, all rely on the people". Along the way, we relied closely on the people to hand over one answer after another that was recorded in the annals of history. Facing the future, we still need to rely on the people to create new historical achievements.

If the road is long and obstructed, it will come to. On the way forward, the people will always be our most solid support and the strongest foundation, no matter whether the wind is high or the waves are rough. We should always be in the same boat with the people through thick and thin. We should keep in touch with the people, think about what they think and do what they ask, and constantly turn the people's yearning for a better life into reality.

——On the new journey, we should always promote the Party's self revolution. A party that has gone through many vicissitudes of life but has not changed its original mind can achieve lasting success; Only a party that has made great achievements and is still brave in self revolution can be invincible. The Communist Party of China has become stronger and more energetic after a hundred years of hard work, especially the revolutionary forging in the new era.

In the face of new challenges and tests on the new journey, we must be highly vigilant, always keep sober and cautious in the exam, and constantly push forward the strict governance of the Party in an all-round way, so that the century old Party will continue to glow with vitality in the self revolution, and always become the most reliable and strongest backbone of the Chinese people.

——On the new journey, we should always carry forward the common values of all mankind. The world today faces unprecedented challenges. We have always maintained that the future and destiny of mankind should be grasped and decided by the people of all countries in the world. As long as we work together on the world road, all countries will be able to live in harmony, cooperate for win-win results and work together to create a better future for the world.

We will work with the people of all countries to promote the common values of peace, development, equity, justice, democracy and freedom for all mankind, safeguard world peace, promote world development, and continue to promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

China cannot develop without the world, and the world also needs China. After more than 40 years of unremitting efforts in reform and opening up, we have created two miracles: rapid economic development and long-term social stability. At present, China's economy has strong resilience, sufficient potential and wide room for manoeuvre. The fundamentals of long-term improvement will not change. China will only open wider and wider. We will unswervingly deepen reform and opening up in an all-round way, unswervingly promote high-quality development, and create more opportunities for the world with our own development.

The new journey is an expedition full of glory and dreams. The blueprint has been drawn and the horn has been sounded. We should work hard and bravely to create a more brilliant tomorrow.
